Instructions and limits
- Paste Excel TSV, CSV or a Markdown table, or import a UTF-8 text file and choose whether the first row is a header.
- Edit headers and cells, add or remove rows and columns, choose alignment, then preview and copy or download Markdown or CSV.
Up to 200 data rows, 30 columns and 2000 cells including headers; 1 MB input and 2 MB output. Plain text is escaped for Markdown/HTML, with line breaks written as <br>. Markdown import preserves displayed text rather than emphasis or link formatting. CSV protects formula-like text.
Use cases and example
Turn data copied from Excel or CSV into Markdown tables for GitHub, blogs and technical documentation.
Copy rows and headers from Excel, import as TSV, right-align numeric columns and copy the Markdown. Pipes and line breaks in cells are handled automatically.
Produces safe plain-text table cells without executing HTML. Import preserves displayed text rather than original Markdown syntax or styles. CSV export protects formula-like content.
