Privacy notice
This notice describes how the current site handles data. Please also read the guidance shown on individual tool pages.
Tool inputs and files
The current tools process selected files and entered content in your browser by default, and the browser prepares the results for download. The tools do not upload that content to Doc80 servers to convert, format or parse it. Your browser requests the pages, scripts and styles needed to run the site.
Data stored in your browser
The site uses browser localStorage to save the IDs of tools you favorite and recently use (up to 12 recent IDs). These records do not contain your tool inputs or file contents. You can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Camera and linked images
Camera scanning runs only after you click to start it and grant browser permission. You can revoke access in your browser settings. Markdown preview blocks linked images by default. If you enable “Load linked images,” your browser requests them from their hosts, which may receive ordinary network request information.
Site access logs
The server or network service delivering the site may record ordinary access logs, such as request time, page, IP address and browser information. These logs are separate from file contents processed by tools in your browser. How long they are kept depends on the deployed service configuration.
Lightweight usage statistics
To improve useful tools, we send fixed categories for page views, tool opens, processing successes or errors in selected tools, and download requests to this site. Statistics contain only the date, page or tool ID, page language, device category and current-page source category (direct, internal, Google, Bing, Baidu or other). We do not send full referring URLs, query strings, filenames, inputs or results. No analytics cookies or visitor IDs are created; unique visitors and cross-page sessions are not measured. Download counts mean requests, not confirmed saved files.
Analytics requests are excluded from ordinary site access logs. Dedicated statistics store no IP addresses or raw browser strings, retain only the categories above for up to 90 days, and are accessible to the site operator through the server or an authenticated private statistics dashboard. Rate limiting temporarily uses IP addresses in server memory to prevent abuse. Requests are disabled when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. You can also disable them below; this preference is stored only in localStorage and is not an identifier. The access-log section above still applies to ordinary page requests.
Ads and changes
The current site has no advertising scripts. If these are added later, or if a tool’s data handling changes, this notice will be updated before the related feature goes live.
